REGIONAL MULTICULTURAL MAGNET SCHOOL (RMMS) K-5th
RMMS is a K-5 community that is committed to empowering students to become active, compassionate, lifelong learners. We work with families as well as local and global communities to implement challenging interdisciplinary programs of international education. We develop students that are respectful, inquiring, knowledgeable and reflective change agents who are empowered to create a sustainable planet and a more just and peaceful world.

SACRED HEART SCHOOL (PK-8th)
Our Sacred Heart School community exists for the purpose of guiding all of its students, recognizing their unique learning style and abilities, toward Catholic Faith-based values and morals, academic excellence, creative expression, responsible citizenship and physical and social development.
Sacred Heart School is a Prek-8th grade school with PreK-3 and PreK- 4 classes.

Groton Public Schools
Groton has an all magnet K-5 elementary school program. Groton's intra-district magnet schools serve families who are residents of Groton with students who are districted to attend Groton Public Schools. Residents of surrounding towns are not eligible to apply.

Catherine Kolnaski STEAM Magnet School
Theme: STEM + Arts = STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) CKMS provides students a strong foundation through STEAM based experiences, classes, units, lessons and opportunities to engage in real world problem solving using a multidisciplinary approach and the integration of technology and the arts. Mystic River Magnet School
Theme: Active Exploration - Play and Ingenuity Our Play and Ingenuity Magnet School finds new ways to engage our students meaningfully in interest based learning with a focus on Active Exploration. NORTHEAST ACADEMY ARTS MAGNET SCHOOL
Theme: Arts (Fine, Visual, Performing and Multimedia) NEA students engage in challenging and complex instruction designed to develop creative thinkers and innovative learners. Through interdisciplinary projects with an arts focus, students are given opportunities to become creative, innovative learners who consistently strive for their personal best.Northeast Academy Arts Magnet School offers a variety of classes and activities that extend beyond the current arts curriculum of the Groton Public Schools, including: chorus, band, orchestra, small ensembles, drama, community performances, before/after school clubs and other enrichment opportunities. |
Thames River Magnet School
Theme: Environmental and Marine Sciences TRMS students engage in daily instruction in all core subjects combined with an environmental/life/marine sciences focus. New London Public Schools
New London Public Schools (NLPS) is set to become Connecticut’s first and only all-magnet school district.
A racially, culturally, and socio-economically diverse community, New London Public Schools serves southeastern Connecticut students in newly constructed campuses. The district currently serves more than 3,300 students in grades PreK-12 and consists of six (6) district campuses; four K-5 elementary schools, one middle school and one 9-12 high school which three magnet pathways(STEM, International Bachelorette and Visual & Performing Arts. |
